I was asked at the beginning of lockdown to make a social media campaign by Once Upon a Time to promote Disney + content but using the + as a mechanic. I decided to use Twixtor to speed-ramp the transition between clips so we slow down to a pause then reverse back to reveal the endframe lockup. I ended-up with around 50 comps with clips being transitioned with the + icon. The project was so successful I was asked to make a 16x9 & 9x16 version for global use. The project was also sent to Disney in the US so they could re-purpose it there. The campaign mechanic lasted up until they changed their style guide a year later.
